Tim founded Tourism in Action B.V. in 2000. During his twenty five year career in tourism, he has held key positions for the Benelux region with international hotel chains, car rental companies, destination management companies and airlines, all major players in the world's Tourism Marketplace. He began his career with Steigenberger Hotels, a company with affiliate hotels in 42 countries worldwide.

His expertise focuses on the planning and implementation of integrated marketing programs - strategy development, marketing communications, sales and promotion, research and information systems and human resources development - in the areas of tourism, transportation, international business development and professional services.

A graduate of Hotel Management School The Hague, Tim Diets is a specialist in international Conference Management. He is a member of the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association, Skål International and has been manager of the Dutch Visit USA Committee for more than 10 years.

Born in The Netherlands, he has lived in various cities in the Benelux countries and continues to enjoy personal contacts in business, professional, academic and artistic circles worldwide.
